The 1000 Ponds Escape and the Notre-Dame du Haut Chapel
Take the road to the south of the Vosges mountains, towards the Plateau des mille Etangs, 1h40 from the campsite. A hiker’s paradise, covered with deep forests and still waters.
L’Echappée des 1000 Etangs, also called “Little Finland”, offers visitors a sensory experience at key points in the area, with landscape breaks combining nature and heritage.

A few kilometres away, walk above the small town of Ronchamp, where Le Corbusier, struck by the beauty of the place, built the Chapelle Notre Dame du Haut, one of the 17 sites of his architectural work inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
